What to know

IWC has introduced two Ingenieur Automatic editions to mark fifty years since Gérald Genta’s Ingenieur SL. The 40 mm IW328910 and 35 mm IW324909 use brushed silver-plated dials inspired by a less familiar version of the original watch. A small anniversary numeral replaces the usual lightning-bolt symbol beneath the collection name.

Each reference is limited to 1,150 pieces and pairs a steel case with an integrated steel bracelet. The larger model uses the automatic 32111 calibre, with a stated 120-hour reserve and a soft-iron inner case. The smaller version shows its 47110 movement through a sapphire back. These are September announcements newly added to Chronolume’s coverage.
