What to know
The Seiko Astron GPS Solar Dual-Time Chronograph interprets the colours of dusk with a deep purple gradient dial and a horizontal line pattern. A titanium case, ceramic-and-titanium bezel and ceramic elements in the bracelet reinforce its distinctly modern design.
Its GPS Solar 5X83 movement offers time-zone synchronization, dual-time reading, a 1/20-second chronograph, world time across 38 zones and a perpetual calendar programmed through 2100. The case is 43.3mm across and water resistant to 100 metres. Limited to 2,000 pieces and priced at a US recommended $2,900, this is the most exclusive and technically elaborate of Seiko’s six coordinated anniversary watches.
